The Expedition was designed as a no nonsense FUN sailboat. Purpose built for people who want to enjoy sailing, with their friends and family. It has a kick-up rudder and centreboard for easy launching and a furling main sail, which can be used all or part the way out, depending upon the wind strength. The easily driven hull is beamy and stable, with a large cockpit, that can accommodate up to 2 adults and 2 children in relative comfort.

The permanently bent boom coming out of the deck gives good head clearance and keeps the rigging simple. Some owners boast the rigging and /or unrigging process only takes 2 minutes, as the Expedition stores with every rope in place.
