Organising Authority Belmont 16ft Sailing Club in conjunction with Newcastle Cruising Yacht Club

The regatta is open to Laser, Laser Radial and Laser 4.7 classes

World Cup Series Hyères – Kontides steals gold again

It was a case of déjà vu on the final day of racing at Sailing’s World Cup Series in Hyères, France as Cypriot Laser sailor Pavlos Kontides once again stole gold from underneath the nose of his rival.

The 2017 World Masters Games finished up over the weekend at Torbay Sailing Club , New Zealand.

Tasmanian Laser State Championships

The Tasmanian Laser State Championships were sailed in Hobart at the Royal Yacht Club of Tasmania on the 18th and 19th March

The weekend saw an eight race series and a mixture of wind strengths – being lighter on the Saturday and strengthening on the Sunday to produce some well earnt results for sailors who kept their eyes out of the boat (for wind shifts) and those who had a good understanding of the current/tide.
